This Brown Bear was huge! She was definitely not starving just outside the remote village of Dillingham, Alaska. Her and her two cubs seemed well fed. She let me take quite a few photos, and I was thankful for the reach of 600mm as she was not letting me get any closer – I was about as close as I wanted to be given her body language. They browsed and eventually wandered back into the woods.
